My Acupressure Experience with Riso Wellness Center

Location: 102 Teresita Apartments corner of Jasmin and Orchid Street in Capitol Site across Angus Dan’s and beside Yayoy’s Grill Cebu City

It was Sunday when I decided to get a massage after a stressful week from work and surprisingly the wellness center location was jus a 5-minute walk away from where I’m staying.

Upon arriving, I realized that I wanted to try their Acupressure Dry Massage that costs 400 pesos which is very affordable for a 60-minute massage.

Acupressure is a massage therapy technique based on the theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that uses finger pressure to mobilize chi — or life force energy — at specific spots on the body called acupressure points, which are also known as acupuncture points or acupoints.

It was my 1st experience and I liked it. I chose soft pressure and it really made me relaxed my body. I like the part where the masseuse stretches my legs and gives my shoulders a soft pressure up to my head.

After the massage, I was served with a warm tea to complement the entire mood of relaxation and it is just perfect.

Their service is undeniably great. The Staffs are very kind and the rooms are so neat that it goes well with the relaxing atmosphere. I would surely recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable and great massage place in Cebu.

Acupuncture Vs Acupressure

Acupuncture and Acupressure are both methods used to stimulate acupoints. In comparison, acupuncture uses a hair-thin needle to stimulate an acupoints whereas acupressure uses a firm pressure to massage the acupoints.  [ Source: ExploreIM ]
